Sharon Kathleen Mattingly
Mattingly, Sharon Kathleen (nee McAlone), our dear mother. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Was welcomed peacefully into heaven on Monday November 7, 2022 at the age of 74.
She was born November 28, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to the late Marilyn and Thomas M. McAlone Sr; cherished mother of Dana (T.J.) Weik and Michelle Parker; adored grandmother of Reiley Parker, Christopher Parker, Logan, Brennan, Cooper Weik; loving sister of Thomas M. McAlone Jr and Maureen Cieslak; our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to so many.
Sharon retired from SLU Endo/Perio and was involved in volunteering for Give Kids a Smile. After retirement she worked for Grants Farm where she was nick named “The Mayor”.
Our Mom never new a stranger and was loved by so many. She was always planning her next adventure. She was the life of every party. Her kindness and good nature will be missed dearly.
