Sharon L. Schardan, nee Mc Neill, 65, of Troy, Il., born Jan 29, 1951, in Saint Louis, Mo., passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at her daughter’s home surrounded by family.

Mrs. Schardan recently retired from a secretarial position at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in the dialysis unit. She was a member of Bluffview Baptist Church in Collinsville, Il. Sharon loved to craft, quilt, watch Cardinal’s baseball, and help others.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Schardan Sr.; her parents Horace and Carlyne Mc Neill, nee Beeler; a brother Frederick (Rose) Mc Neill; and a great-granddaughter Lillian Lovell.

Surviving to cherish her memory a daughter, Delores “Carla” (Joseph Sr.) Ryan of Saint Louis, Mo; a son, Thomas Schardan Jr. of Collinsville; a step-daughter, Patricia Lovell, of Lebanon, IL; one granddaughter, Jenna Ryan; eight grandsons, Joseph Ryan Jr, Ryan and Dillon Lovell, Brandon, Nicholas, Thomas, Alexander, and Jeffery Schardan; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Lucas Lovell; a brother, Patrick (Kay) Mc Neill; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service: A memorial service will be celebrated on November 23, 2016 at 10AM at Bluffview Baptist Church 2052 N Bluff Rd, Collinsville, IL 62234.
