Sheila K. Moody
Sheila K. Moody, age 39, of Bethalto, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at St. Louis University Hospital. She was born October 20, 1973 in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Danny P. Moody of Lemay, Missouri and Rebecca (White) Winiecke & husband James of Benld, Illinois. Sheila graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1992 and earned her associates degree from Sanford-Brown College. She worked as a respiratory therapist at Midwest Rehabilitation & Respiratory Center in Belleville, Illinois. In addition to her parents, Sheila is survived by William Watson and daughter, Allison Watson both of Bethalto; a brother, Brian Moody of Overland, Missouri; a step-sister, Kimi Gravot of O’Fallon, Illinois; Ralph, Taletta, and Elizabeth Watson, of Edwardsville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and sister, Shelley Marie Moody. Sheila loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, whom she loved dearly. She shared her unique laugh and beautiful smile with all who knew her. She was often spotted wearing her fuzzy pajamas and holding her big gulp soda in hand. She had compassion for her patients, but most of all loved her best friend/ daughter, Allison. Sheila was an organ donor and was cremated according to her wishes. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at the Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.
