Shirley A. Nichols passed away peacefully on March 26, 2017 at her home in Florrisant, Missouri with her loved ones by her side.

Shirley was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 10, 1930, where she grew up with her parents, the late Peter and Ella (Lippert) Egler, and family.

Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Rhine; dear mother of Terry (Clif) Koons & Debbie (Bob) Rhine; loving grandmother of the late Bobby (Bevan), Kelley & Kyle Rhine, Kim LaMartina & Melissa (John) Just; and proud great-grandmother of Jacob & Miller Rhine. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.

Services: A visitation will be held at 9:00 am, and a memorial Mass begins at 10am at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 1625 Swallow Ln., Florissant MO 63031, on Saturday, April 1st, 2017. Per her wishes, her ashes will be laid to rest alongside her late husband Eugene in a private ceremony at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society preferred.
