Shirley G. Bezzole (nee Smith) age 74, passed peacefully on January 30, 2015 at Mercy Hospital with her family by her side.

She is survived by her loving husband Anthony “Tony” Bezzole; her beloved children Anthony (Linda) Bezzole and Shannon (Paul) Niebrugge; her dear grandchildren Vincent, Jenna and Victoria; her granddog Bella and many friends.

She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandma who loved her family dearly. She also had a very honest nature and was known for speaking her mind, something that her loved ones remember with a mix of fondness, humor and chagrin.

Shirley was born in St. Louis, MO to the late Lynn and Isabelle Smith on December 25, 1940. She devoted most of her life to the home and taking care of her family.

Shirley gifted her body to St. Louis University. Per her wishes a private memorial will be held at a later date, but memorials in her name may be made to the Humane Society at www.hsmo.org
