Shirley Jean Strode
Shirley Jean Strode, born May 27, 1933 and passed away on May 19, 2012. The beloved wife of Alvin E. Strode. She was survived by her children Steven Strode Sr, Rhonda Limpert, nee Strode, David Strode, Bradley Strode, and daughter-in-law Sheila Strode. Grandmother to Steven Strode Jr, Ashley Strode, Matt Limpert, Alex Limpert, Shane Strode, and Jacob Strode. Great grandmother to Desi Huighe and Landon Strode. Aunt, cousin, and friends to many. Shirley loved reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devote Catholic and attended Saint Catherine Laboure Church.
Services: A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 29th at Saint Catherine Laboure Church, 9740 Sappington Road at 10 A.M.. There will be a gathering/Lunch-in after mass to celebrate Shirley’s life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice deGreeff Hospice House.
I am so sorry…I loved your mom…She was alot of fun. I will always remember her laugh…She will be missed greatly.

Shirley was a great mother. She was a neighbor on Woodway in Fenton and I always enjoyed hanging out at the Strode house with all the kids and playing ball on the empty lot next to their house.
