Steven James Whiteson

Steven, passed March 4, 2020 from respiratory failure due to the Flu. He was 55 years young. Beloved son of Bennett and Mary (deceased), stepson of Jillian, and brother of Melinda (Thompson) and Charles Whiteson. Cousin to a large family. Uncle to Michaela Thompson and Rebecca Stratman Wallace, Great Uncle to Jak and Nolyn Wallace and loved brother-in-law of David O. Thompson (deceased).

Steven will be sorely missed by family and the many friends that crossed his path in life. Steven at 6’6” was the gentlest of giants. He lived his life his way and to the fullest. He loved to talk, tell stories, share his adventures and there was never one person he couldn’t talk to. He loved music of all genres and he was an artist, drawing life as he saw it. He gave of himself and his possessions all his life and by being who he was, was an organ donor as his final loving act. Steven will live on through his final gift of life and in the hearts of all of us that loved him.

Steven, a gentle and loving soul, will be sorely missed. Truly, he was a gift from our Heavenly Father to all in his immediate and extended family as well as to all friends he touched. We thank God for His gift of Steven.

Steven always seemed calm and serene. He was an amazing artist and had a manner about him that was so gentle. The last time I saw him he stayed over at our house as he was making a delivery the next morning. He took our grandson, Ryan, with him the next morning to get the truck and let him ride in it back to the hose. Ryan was probably 6 or 7 at the time and it was a very big deal for him. Steve was certainly a caring person. Sorry he is no longer with us.
