
Steven William Krestel
April 10th, 1984 – May 14th, 2025
Steven William Krestel, 41, of Wentzville, MO, formerly of O’Fallon, MO
peacefully passed away on May 14, 2025 at the home of his parents, William and
Cathy Krestel of Saint Peters, MO. Born in Columbus, Ohio on April 10, 1984,
Steve was the youngest of four sons. He was the father of four children, Chantz,
Paxton, Dominic, and Charlotte Krestel. He was proceeded in death by his
daughter, Charlotte, and his second wife, Christine. He is survived by his parents,
brothers Kevan (Tiffany), Jonathan (Michaelle), Jeffrey (Jenny) Krestel, and
numerous nieces and nephews. Steve was the owner of Krestel Cleaning, a
commercial cleaning business in the area.
Steve’s favorite sport growing up was soccer. He played on a number of select
soccer teams in both the Columbus, Ohio and Saint Peters soccer leagues. A
graduate of Fort Zumwalt West High School, Steve was a staple on the varsity
soccer team. An avid sports fan, Steve faithfully followed his beloved Ohio State
Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Saint Louis Blues.
Steve accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age and was later baptized at
Element Church where he also served as an usher. Visitation will be held at
Element Church, 100 Mall Parkway, Wentzville, MO from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on
Saturday, May 31. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial donations be sent to the Steven
Krestel Memorial Fund at Montgomery Bank to help provide future educational
funds for his children. Donations can also be sent by Zelle or Venmo to

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m praying for the family for strength from the Lord God above. Steve will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful man and a wonderful father. The pool will not be the same anymore without you Steve rest in peace, my dear friend.
