Sue “Suzie” Nix
Sue “Suzie” (Haynes) Nix passed away on June 23, 2019 after a six-year battle with cancer. She was born February 13, 1944 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret (Hargraves) Haynes.
She spent her early years of marriage caring and molding her four children. She later became a Paraprofessional at High Ridge Elementary, where she made a giant impact on many lives. She then became a Technology Specialist for the Northwest School District where she spent the rest of her career before retiring in June of 2015. She continued to volunteer with the tech department along with spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and close friends.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Michael Nix, whom she was married to on April 17, 1971; four children: Tina(David) Ribaudo, Eric Nix, Wendi Nix , Jason(Beth) Nix; six grandchildren: Shelby and Nicholas Ribaudo, Joshua and Samantha Bauer, and Morgan and Skylar Nix; her sister Kathleen (Haynes) Nelson; nephew: Michael Nelson; along with a great number of other relatives and friends.
Her family will be hosting a Celebration of Suzie’s life on July 6, 2019 at Cedar Hill Elks Lodge #2678,
located at 8430 Industrial Dr. Cedar Hill, MO 63016 from 12-4pm.
