Sue Wadsack

On Sunday, February 25, 2018, Sue Wadsack (nee Chapman) departed this existence peacefully to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her family and friends in her last hours and comforted by the staff at Delmar Gardens Meramec Valley and Pathways Hospice after a battle with the lung illness that claimed her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Wadsack, Jr., her father Melvin Chapman, her mother Ruth Chapman and her daughter Jessica Wadsack. She leaves behind her brother Bruce Chapman and his wife Lynda, her beloved sister in law and her nephews Joshua Curtis and Bryce Chapman and her nieces Elizabeth Shastay, Courtney Chapman and Victoria Thomas . She also leaves behind her beloved dog Tye who will be looked after and cared for by her dear friend and neighbor Marty Ritter. Sue also leaves behind a sister Cindy Quinn who resides in Florida.

Sue had a long career as a respiratory therapist at various hospitals around the St. Louis area where she made countless friends including her dear friend, Devon Isring. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.

Donations on Sue’s behalf can be made to the Animal Protective Association or the American Lung Association. A celebration of Sue’s life will be made held at a later date at the Chapman residence in Ellisville.

    You will forever be in my heart. I will never forget your infectious laugh and your beautiful smile. Breath easy and be with Ray and Jessie. I will pray for comfort for friends and family. You will surely be missed.

    Aunt Sue,

    I will never forget your free spirit, your laugh, and the smell of your perfume! We made some really fun memories camping at Sam A. Baker that I will cherish forget! I loved you more than you could ever know! I will miss you dearly! Say hello to Jerry Garcia and Lynn for me!
