
Susan Thomas

Susan Thomas, born November 18, 1947, entered into eternal rest on September 16, 2025, at the age of 77. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose kindness, strength, and faith touched the lives of many.
On November 30, 2001, Susan was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Andre Thomas, with whom she shared a life filled with love, family, and faith.
Susan was blessed with a beautiful family who brought her joy throughout her life. She is survived by her children: Denise Landis, Robin Zurweller, and Tim Zurweller. She also embraced her stepdaughters, Channel Thomas and Missmollie Thomas, as well as her stepson Marquis Howard, with open arms and love.
She was the proud grandmother of Tara Taylor, the late Ashley Martin, Ryan Pryor, Amanda Vaughn, Cody Landis, Austin Zurweller, Bradley Landis, Cohl McTyer, Lord G, Majesty G, and Mansa G. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Gavin, Cameron, Jaxson, and Kohen Vaughn; Addalyn, Delilah, and Maddox Taylor; Lucille and Colton Landis.
Susan was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Zurweller, her parents Dorothy (Wilbanks) and James Collins, and her granddaughter Ashley Martin and step daughter Mary Ann Irving.
Her faith in God was unwavering, and she found comfort in the promise that He prepares a place for His children in heaven. Susan’s life was a testimony of resilience, compassion, and devotion to her family.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her, but her love and faith will continue to live on through her family and friends.
