Tammie Brown

Tammie Brown (Nee Witt) of Farmington, MO born to Richard and Alice (Armistead) Witt on December 27, 1968 passed from this life on September 3, 2021 in St. Louis. Tammie was married to Ronald C. Brown on June 11, 1988 and had two sons, Steven and Randall Brown. Tammie took great pride in her family. She loved her family and could be counted on to make every family gathering memorable with her humor.


Tammie was preceded in death by her Father, Richard A Witt and sister Pamela Reed. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Brown, and sons, Steve and Randy of Farmington, Mo , her mother, Alice (Armistead)Witt of Farmington, MO, her dear Mother-in-law, Jeri Funk, of East Carondelet, IL , one brother, Richard(Patsy)Witt of Springfield, MO. , two sisters, Brenda (Michael) Harris of Fenton, MO, and Connie Witt (fiancé Dustin Williams) of Waterloo, IL., nephews, David, Richard, Michael ,Samuel and Logan, nieces Crystal and Candace, her great nieces, Madeline, Taylor, Cadence and Sophie, great nephews, Brendan and Slade and her loving family pet, Scruffy.


Tammie was dearly loved and respected by all who knew her. Tammie was always willing to help where she could. Tammie was very knowledgeable in her work and was often called upon to teach those around her. Tammie had a kind and loving heart that drew other people to her. Tammie valued her sons above all else and was a very proud mother and wife. She took great pleasure in making every birthday and holiday a special event. Tammie will be severely missed by her family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life in her honor at 12:00 Saturday, September 11th at Grace Union Church, 3900 Union Road, St. Louis, MO.

    My prayers are with the family!! I know Tammie is with her Lord and Savior in Heaven. She was sweet and kind , I will never forget her. I pray for her busband Ron and the. boys. We will see you one day again . Love and prayers.

    She was a very Sweet Kind Soul. When you were down she would make you smile and laugh. I pray for her family. As it’s not fair that the good ones always have to leave us. But I know she will be waiting on us in Heaven. Really gonna miss her.
