Teresa “Terri” Stuckenschneider
Teresa “Terri” (Tyner) Stuckenschneider, 62, was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness knew no bounds. She was born on January 12, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, and passed away peacefully in her home in Eureka, Missouri, on January 24, 2025.
Terri had a heart that never hesitated to give. Even when she had little to offer, she gave what mattered most—her time, her ear, and her unwavering support. She had a gift for listening, truly hearing people, and making them feel understood. Her compassion and selflessness touched countless lives, and she always found a way to make others feel cared for and valued.
She had a deep love for crafting and always found joy in creating beautiful things with her hands. Whether it was a handmade gift or a simple act of kindness, she put her heart into everything she did. Her love for animals was just as strong, and she cared for them as deeply as she did her family and friends.
Above all, Terri was devoted to her children, Ashlee Whitelaw and Alex Whitelaw (Sam Trybula), and her beloved grandchildren, Rosalee Boyer, Zailee DeCarlo, Xander Whitelaw, and Kaia Whitelaw. They were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, generosity, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy isn’t just in the memories she left behind but in the kindness she inspired in others.
A celebration of Terri’s life will be held at a later date. In honor of her giving nature, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, acts of kindness be extended to others in her memory.
A GoFundMe has been set up to assist with final expenses and honor Terri’s memory. Donations can be made at https://gofund.me/9079a6e8. Any support is deeply appreciated.
Terri’s ashes will be spread at Carlyle Lake, where she will rest alongside her mother, father, and brother—forever reunited in a place they all loved.
Terri’s story is one of love, generosity, and an unshakable spirit—and that will never fade.
