Terry Stivers 81,got his wings on May 12,2025 at Parkland Hospital in Farmington, Mo. Terry Stivers was born June 4,1943 in St. Louis, Mo the son of James & Esther (Day) Stivers.
Terry graduated from Cleveland H.S. in St. Louis, Mo and afterwards joined the U.S. Navy and after 2years service he went on to working at St. Louis University in the Ritger Scale Department. but his real passion was when he went onto working at ITT Institute teaching Electronics in St. Louis,Mo.
Terry belonged to the American Legion Post#554 in St. Genevieve, he also belonged to a Radio Club and had a license to operate the radio.
Terry enjoyed going camping with his brother Mike and his two uncles, Charlie and Carl. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing as well. He loved reading books, especially educational ones. In his spare time he would watch old movies and old westerns. Terry liked going to the casinos as well.
Terry is survived by his brother Mike Stivers. He has three surviving cousins, Russell (June)Day of St. Louis, Ronald (Tammy)Day of Lebanon,Mo and Patricia Adams of St.Louis, Mo. He has five nephews, Colian of St. Louis, Mike (Jennifer)Stivers of Imperial, Mo, Matt (Stephanie) Stivers of Imperial, Mo, Timothy (Stacey)Shikles and Jeffrey Shikles of St. Genevieve, Mo. Two nieces, Katherine of St. Louis & Sherri Jones in Affton, Mo.
Terry’s wishes were to be cremated, and his ashes spread in some of his favorite places. He will truly be missed by all.
Uncle Terry was very sweet and kind. What a smart man he was. I will miss those wallet calender cards you gave me every year.
