Frisby, Theresa Mae

At the age of 95, Theresa Mae Frisby (nee Newbold) passed away peacefully on April 12, 2021. Theresa is survived by her children Robert Frisby, Catherine (John) Ganousis, Mary (Leo) Speno, James (Peggy) Frisby and was preceded in death by her son Daniel and her husband Robert. Theresa was a loving grandmother to Nathan (Rachel) Ganousis, Tony (Randi) Ganousis, Natalie (Stephen) Zerr, Nick Ganousis, Amanda (Larry) Morgan, Tony Speno, Leo Speno IV, Braden Frisby, Alex Frisby, Adam Frisby, and great grandmother to Remy Ganousis, Reese Ganousis, Lincoln Ganousis, Sydney Ganousis, Nora Zerr, Maria Morgan, Francesca Morgan, and Vincent Morgan. Dear sister of Mark Newbold, and the late; John Newbold, Marie Gianini, and Mazie Liebengood. Sister in law, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Theresa and her husband Bob were longtime residents of Ferguson, MO, and eventually moved to St Charles, MO, to be closer to their children. Theresa loved to bake and cook for her family. She also loved to watch her boys play softball and take road trips with her girls. Well into her 80’s Theresa enjoyed going to the gym every day. She also loved to dance. In her younger years, Theresa served our country by entertaining troops in the USO. Bob and Theresa were members and active supporters of the American Legion and AMVETS. One of their favorite things to do in the summer was to go to Music on Main Street in St. Charles. Most recently, Theresa resided at Delmar Gardens of O’Fallon, MO. In her final days, Theresa was surrounded and comforted by her children and grandchildren. She was more than one in a million!

Services: A funeral mass at St Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in St Charles, MO will be held at 9:30 AM on April 28, 2021. Immediately following the service, the family will proceed to Jefferson Barracks Nation Cemetery, where Theresa will be laid to rest next to her husband Bob.
