Theresa Evans

Theresa (nee Dean) Evans, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the age of 82.

Theresa was born on February 27, 1941, in Saint Louis, Missouri to Lawrence Monroe Dean and Rosemary (nee Caggiano) Hammer.

She is survived by her children, Tammie (nee Evans) Korte and William (Hope) Evans.

Her family lovingly remembers her as a kind and giving mother, who always put family first. 

A cherished Grandmother of Joseph Korte; Nicholas (Grace) Korte; Emily (Kyle) Gawlowski; Melody (Clayton) Sherrard; and Mindy Banks – and Great Grandmother to Charles Korte, Henry Korte, Eloise Korte and Romeo Banks.

Theresa leaves behind her sister Carol (Rich) Baranowski; and brothers Lloyd (Theresa) Dean; Larry (Blanche) Dean. 

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence Dean and Rosemary (nee Caggiano) Hammer and brothers Lawrence (Big Larry) Dean; Lonnie Dean; and Lester Dean.  

The family of Theresa extends a heartfelt “thank you” to the de Greeff Hospice House for all the care and comfort they provided during the last days of her life.

    My condolences to all of Teresa’s family. She was a very sweet lady. My son was looking up in the obituaries for a friend of his and came across Teresa’s and called me this morning.
