Thomas Adler passed away peacefully at his home, The Rockwood in Webster Groves, on December 3, 2025, at the age of 76. 

He was born on January 23, 1949 in Budapest, Hungary, before emigrating with his family through the Unites States Escapee Program following the Hungarian Revolution in 1957. He resided in St. Louis, MO for the majority of his life, graduating from University City High School in 1967. 

The third generation in a family of watchmakers and jewelers, Tom spearheaded the jewelry division of Adler’s Jewelers in partnership with his father, beginning a 54 year career serving the greater St. Louis area.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Adler (Akin), and his parents, Larry and Elizabeth Adler. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Danielle (Armeake) Adler Estes and Jessica (Stephen) Adler Gerring, a sister, Marilyn Blum, four grandchildren, and 3 nephews, and extended chosen family near and far.
