Thomas Edward Lang of Leslie, Missouri, born on October 1, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Helen Molly (Dolan) Lang and the late Edward Bernard Lang, passed away suddenly at the age of 79 on September 5, 2019, at his home. He requested cremation and a private ceremony.

Tom was the husband of the late Sara Lang, and is survived by his daughters, Ellen (& Ron) Sadler, Amy Lang & Ryan Drinkard, grandson Drew Sadler, sisters Barbara (& Dave) Sladovnik and Nancy (& John) Doerer, and was an uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.

He obtained his BA at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, and spent his career in advertising, building his own business, then pursued his interest in real estate after retiring.

He will be remembered for his love of his family, friends, the rural areas he chose to call home, and his amazing attitude about life, never forgetting those he met along the way.

Friends and family members are invited to attend a casual memorial celebration at Wildflower Restaurant in the Central West End on Saturday, September 14, beginning at 5pm.
