
Thomas F. Kipp
It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Thomas Frederick Kipp, age 78, of Arnold, Missouri. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, December 20th, 2024, under the compassionate care of the Hospice at the Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital.
Thomas proudly served his country as a United States Navy veteran, completing a four-year term during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, he pursued a career as a cabinet maker, starting as an apprentice and ultimately establishing his own successful business, Kipp Woodworking, in 1982. His dedication and skill led him to join Carpenters’ Union Local 1596. He married Deborah Missey in 1973, and they shared 51 years of marriage, raising their two daughters, Kimberle and Carrie.
Thomas was a loving and devoted husband, and father. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Deborah Ann Kipp; his daughter Kimberle (Kipp) Klaus and son-in-law Michael Klaus; his daughter Carrie (Kipp) Kaboos and son-in-law Mike Kaboos; and all who knew him. He was predeceased by his parents, Melvin R. Kipp and Mary A. Kipp.
A memorial service will be held at St. Louis Cremation, located at 2135 Chouteau Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63103. Further details regarding the service will be shared in soon.
