Thomas L. “Tom” Roth 84, died at his home in Festus, MO on July 1, 2025.  He was born March 8, 1941 in Ozora, MO, the only child of Francis and Emma Roth.

He worked most of his life in sales, mainly real estate, having his own company at one time and also worked for other area companies.  After leaving real estate he worked in other various areas of sales.  His life passions were everything cowboy, horses, guns, and guitars.  He was one heck of a rhythm guitar player, knew the words to hundreds of country and western swing songs. He had the house band at the De Soto Opry, played music at several nursing homes and many other venues over the years.  He loved entertaining people.

He and his wife Connie enjoyed doing everything together, playing music and singing, dancing, and trail riding. They were married October 4, 1986 on their horses at the Cross Country Trail Ride at Eminence, MO. When retired they RV’ed fulltime for 16 years and made many music friends along the way.  He was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
