Timothy James Bennett, age 70, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 7:29am, June 14th, at the Atrium Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, East St. Louis IL.

Tim was born on October 20th, 1955, in Granite City, IL, son of Charles and Norma Bennett, also of Granite City. He lived in and around Granite City for most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Norma and brother-in-law Marshall Evans. He is survived by his sister, Charleen Evans of Granite City IL and brother Michael (Gwendolyn) Bennett of Collinsville Il; Nephews, Christopher (Jennifer) Evans, Zachary (Simmi) Bennett, Benjamin Bennett and Lucas (Ashley) Bennett; Great Nieces, Emma Evans and Chloe Evans.

A private celebration of life will be held Monday, July 6th. Memorials can be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
