Timothy John Ryan, 70, went home to God on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013.

He was the Cherished Husband of Mary Ida Ryan (nee Mertensmeyer); loving Father of John (Dianne), Jenny (Patrick); playful “Pop Pop” to Grandchildren: Irene, Rosie, Lydia and Timmy.

Tim was born in St. Louis in 1942, the eldest of 6 Children born to Florence and John T. Ryan. He was educated by the Jesuits at St. Louis U. High School and St. Louis University. With a Masters in English, Tim taught at Hollenbeck Jr. High School in Los Angeles and Ferguson Jr. High in St. Louis. Later he earned his M.B.A.. He retired after 21 years as an accountant at AT&T in 1998. His new career was Treasurer for the Tower Grove Farmer’s Market where he made many friends who considered him their “Official Bean Counter”. Tim instilled in his Children a love of language, history, movies and the outdoors.

We will sorely miss you, Tim.
