Timothy Johns

Timothy Leo Johns went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 31, 2023. He was born at St Anthony’s in St Louis, MO on August 22, 1963, to Clyde Leo and Barbara Ann (née Schiley) Johns. A 1981 graduate of Parkway West High School, Tim went on to continue his education at L`Ecole Culinaire in 2008.
Timothy married the love of his life, Cynthia Ann (née Woolford) on April 29, 1989, at Christ Prince of Peace. Together Tim and Cindy celebrated the birth of their daughter, Rochelle Anne Johns in December of 1995.
Tim enjoyed spending as much time with his family and friends as possible. When Tim and Cindy were younger, they enjoyed roller-skating. Tim also enjoyed bowling, watching Nascar, the St Louis Blues, and the St Louis Cardinals.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Clyde Johns; his sister Rachelle Johns; his brothers Kevin Foerster and Craig Johns; his Grandparents; Aunts; and Uncles.  His loving brother, Chris (Maria) Johns and sister Nancy (Matt) Austermann Johns will sorely miss Tim.

Tim will surely be missed by everyone, he was a great husband to my sister and great dad to my neice, and great uncle to my daughters as well as a great great uncle to my granddaughter. Tim made a big impact on everyone who knew him and was loved by everyone.

Tim will forever be remembered for his comedic relief, sarcasm, and the way he loved everyone he held dear to him. Tim was the love of Cindy’s life and vice-versa. They fulfilled each another’s lives. Tim and Cindy were blessed to have Rochelle as their daughter and she for having them as her parents. Tim, we all love you and will always hold you dear to us. May you forever rest in eternal peace.

There is great and profound truth in Cheryl Woolford’s words above,:”Tim made a big impact on everyone who knew him and was loved by everyone.” I can only add that Tim reciprocated with his love in word and deed, across the miles and over the years, decade upon decade. Honestly, I am still trying to come to terms with Tim’s passing. Tim’s friendship was, and will continue to be, a powerful positive force in mylife.
