It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Michael Rankin, who departed this world on May 2, 2025, at the age of 65.  

Born on February 18, 1960, in St. Louis, MO, Timmy was a beloved son, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend. His love and passion for the outdoors, deer and turkey hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, leisurely strolls in the woods, arrowhead  hunting and simply sitting outside by a campfire with a glass of bourbon or cup of coffee in his hand were his greatest joys.  

Timmy is survived by his loving mother, Betty Jo Rankin, beloved brother of Susan (Len) Tamborski, Butch (Karen) Rankin, Kathleen Rankin, Michele (Tim) Burke and  Craig Rankin, who will forever hold dear the memories of Timmy’s love. Timmy was  preceded in death by his father, Daniel L. Rankin.  

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Mattingly’s Sports Bar and Grill, St. Charles, MO., where friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of  Timmy.  

Rest in peace our dear Timmy. Your love, laughter and occasional orneriness will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.
