Timothy Pyle

Timothy J “Gomer” Pyle lost his 19 day battle with COVID on Thursday January 7, 2021.
Born June 1, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri. Son of the late Charles L & Marian (Chalupny) Pyle.
Beloved father of Dana (Scott) Schunzel and Chad (Susan) Pyle.
Cherished grandfather of Ashley (Dalen Sloan), Courtney Schunzel and Colton Pyle.
Dear brother of Sandie (late Daniel) & Jerry (Nancy) Pyle.
Significant other of April Stephenson.
Dearest brother in law, cousin, uncle, great uncle and great- great uncle.
Great friend to so many.
Due to COVID restrictions the family decided to have him cremated and will have a celebration of life Memorial Day weekend 2021, also his 60th birthday. In lieu of flowers, the family requested contributions be made to the celebration of life.
Tim was a truck driver for most of his adult life. He was a life long sports fan but really loved the Cardinals and the Blues. He passed his passion for hockey onto his daughter and granddaughters, as well as many others.
He had an exceptional love for food, family and friends. He enjoyed hosting most holidays and family celebrations. Taking special pride in his epic Fourth of July and Halloween parties. He was most happy in front of a BBQ pit, beer in hand, feeding everyone.
Tim was loved and will truly be missed by so many.
He will be remembered with endless stories, his friendly, generous personality and beyond all… his infectious laugh.
Natty Light Cheers to you and Mike!
Let’s Go Bluuuues!
We love you, Dad!!

That was beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I have had the pleasure of working with Tim for the last 6 years and became very close over the last 2 and half years as he reported to me and Mellissa everyday. He told me all the time that my attitude reminded him of just like his daughter Dana and he looked so forward to the day he could introduce us! I would still love that opportunity. Tim was a fun loving guy who would give any one the shirt off of his back!!! He will be so very missed and absolutely never forgotten!! Love you old timer thanks for helping me adjust when I took over for Joe I could of never done it with out you, but most importantly thank you for being such as amazing friend that I will miss so much!!
