Valerie Jean Neiner

Valerie Jean Neiner, age 77, passed away on October 22, 2019 at St Luke’s Hospital due to complications of her chronic pneumonia and lung cancer. She was born on April 20,1942 in Afton MO. She is predeceased by her parents David and June Baltz, along with her former husband Gerard Neiner.

Valerie was a very talented , compassionate woman, whose life journey consisted of being an amazing homemaker and entrepreneur . Her artistic abilities included painting, designed beautiful jewelry, baking delicious candy, cookies, and special birthday cakes for those she loved. She enjoyed playing the piano and imperial dancing. Being a qualified Handwriting Analysis expert, Apartment Complex Manager and Subdivision Builder are just some of her professional skills. One could say Val even had a “Special Gift” for healing. Family time included gatherings with both sides of the family, camping, snow/water skiing, traveling and so much more.

Val’s greatest blessings, were being the devoted mother of Kimberly (Royce) Michaels, Bryan (Tricia) Neiner, and Deanna Schade. Devoted grandmother (MIMI) of Erica, Alyssa, and Olivia Michaels. Jacob and Joseph Neiner. Meghan and Heather Pearson. Zachary Schade and Sarah Litteken. Devoted great grandmother (MIMI) of Tia Pearson.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made in honor of Valerie’s memory to a cause that touches your heart.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St Luke’s Palliative Care Team and 6th floor Doctors, Nurses, and staff for their support and genuine care for her.

Visitation and Memorial Mass will be held at Incarnate Word Parish ,13416 Olive Blvd. Chesterfield MO 63017 on Saturday Nov. 9 at 9 am, with a mass at 10. Funeral arrangements are being handled by St Louis Cremation.

    I truly don’t understand the gravity of your loss from this amazing video and the stories you told me of your mom. You were blessed to have such an awesome lady as a mom and a friend.
