Lorenscheit, Valerie M (nee Baer), 82, surrounded by love, care, and life, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Dearest daughter of the late Agnes M. Teague; Beloved wife of 64 years of Werner E. Lorenscheit; cherished mother of Eric Lorenscheit and Karen(Kenneth) Zaegel; loving grandmother “Meme” of Catherine (Andrew) Born, Kirk (Moe) Lorenscheit, and Nicholas Zaegel; adored great grandmother of Thomas Born; dear sister of Carol (the late Donald) Kelly and the late Marshall Baer; dear aunt of Donna Kelly, Pamela (Dean) Teague, Derek (Lori McConnell) Kelly; dear sister-in-law of Helmut (the late Wilma) Lorenscheit, the late Ursula Neumann, the late Dieter Lorenscheit; dear aunt of Connie (Kevin) Foster, Don (Janet) Lorenscheit, Michael (Tanja) Neumann, Siegfried Neumann; special friend and cousin-in-law of Ronald (the late Joan) Kriss; dear aunt to David (Jan) Kriss and Daniel (Jeanne) Kriss; dear great aunt, great great aunt, godmother, cousin, and friend.

Valerie donated her body to Saint Louis University School of Medicine. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Richard Coerver at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 1510 Bopp Road, Des Peres,MO 63131 on Saturday, January 6 th at 10:00 a.m.

The family would like to thank David C. Pratt Cancer Center, Mercy Hospital St. Louis, and Mercy Hospice for all the care, compassion, and love you showed our mother and family.
