Vernard Madre Chambers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vernard Madre Chambers, who left this world on March 26th.

Vernard was a beloved father of two adult children, sibling to a loving younger brother and a friend to countless others.

He will remembered for his kindness, compassion, strength, and unwavering love for family and friends.

Born on April 25th,1943 in Detroit MI, Vern lived a life filled with love, dedication, and empathy. He constantly sought ways to better understand our world in ways that would help him be a more compassionate contributor to his community. He found joy in spending time with his daughter and their shared sense of humor, playing golf with friends and his son, navigating the corporate environment with his longtime coworkers who held such an endearing place in his heart.

Vern is survived by his loving son, Kavin M. Chambers, and cherished daughter, Kim Parker, along with his brother LaRoyce Chambers, sister-in-law Minnie Chambers, son-in-law, Rick Parker and daughter-in-law Jo Rossi-Chambers. Additionally, he was a proud and loving uncle to his two nephews, Anthony & Reginald Chambers. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A service to celebrate Vern’s life will be held on April 12th at 1PM at the Staenberg Family Complex in Creve Coeur, 2 Millstone Campus Drive St. Louis, MO 65146.

Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, laugh and honor a life well-lived.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. We honor his memory by striving to be a more compassionate and loving member of the communities we serve.

Rest in joy, Vern. You will always be remembered.
