Vernon L. Martin, Sr., 73, of St. Charles passed away August 15, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Martin (nee Rischert); two sons, Vernon L. Martin, Jr. and Steven E. Martin; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Mr. Martin worked at Shop ‘n Save Warehouse for 32 years and was a member of the St. Charles Elks Lodge 690. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. No memorial service is planned.
