Victor Koehler

Victor Koehler, 93, of St. Louis passed away on March 20,2020 at Meramec Bluffs, a Lutheran Senior Services community, of natural causes complicated by Alzheimer’s.

 

Vic was married to his wife Nancy Koehler (nee Henry) for 66 years, had 1 daughter, Victoria (Douglas) Loveall (nee Koehler), 2 granddaughters, Rachelle (James) Hynes (nee Dubinsky) and Lindsay Newhouse (nee Dubinsky), and 2 great granddaughters, Hannah Newhouse and Grace Hynes.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Matilda Koehler, and 8 brothers and sisters, Edna Borders, Charles Koehler, Mildred Petti, Hazel Dunscomb, Irene Schulz, Elmer Koehler, Norman Koehler, Grace Koehler.

 

He proudly served his country in WWII as an MP in the Army, and worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T for over 40 years. He enjoyed retirement, traveling the world, playing golf, doing his crafts and loving his family. Vic was truly a special, wonderful and giving man, and will be truly missed by his loved ones.

 

Due to the COVID-19 virus, a memorial service for his family will be held at a later time.
