Victoria Zahirny
In loving memory of Victoria “Vikki” Olexa Zahirny, 1951 – 2024. We celebrate the radiant life of Vikki, who left us too soon on May 28, 2024, at the age of 72.
While her journey on the Earth was briefer than we would have wished, Vikki‘s indomitable spirit, boundless enthusiasm and warmth ensured she left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of those she touched. Born in Bristol, PA on November 15, 1951, Vikki was a beacon of hope and positivity. Her laughter was infectious, her heart generous, and her presence was truly a gift to all who knew her. Passionate in every pursuit, Vikki had an undeniable love for life’s many adventures. As a dedicated mother, wife, sister, colleague and friend, she showcased her commitment of love and compassion, leaving a legacy of kindness in her wake. The bonds she formed, the shared moments of joy and laughter, and the countless memories created with loved ones were sources of endless warmth and comfort to her.
Vikki is survived by her loving daughter, Cyndi and son-in-law, Jerry Landry and daughter Elizabeth Landry; her granddaughter, Lynsi Brasken (the sparkle of her eye and lovingly called “Skittles”), who was the light of her life, Lynsi’s boyfriend Chad; her siblings, Babs Barger & husband Jim, Connie Zimmer & husband Jim, Linda Lamberson & husband Al, and Kathy Nealis & husband Ed; her stepchildren Gregory and his son Christian, Nicole, Gigi, Chris and Beckie; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members and friends, especially her Credit Control co-workers who became like family to her. She is also survived by her kitty cat, Lucky. Vikki was preceded in death by her parents, Constance & Buddy Lake, and her husband, Greg Zahirny.
While we deeply feel the absence of Vikki‘s physical presence, the memories, love, and joy she brought into our lives remain eternal. A celebration of Vikki’s remarkable life is being planned in the future in her hometown of Bristol, PA where her heart always remained. Vikki’s legacy of love, kindness and positivity is a guiding light for all who were blessed to know her. Please make a donation in remembrance of Vikki to the charity that is near and dear to your heart in her honor.
