Virginia Crawford, age 77, of Hazelwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, following a long struggle with cardiovascular disease.

Born on May 17, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, Virginia was the second child of the late Nicholas and Martha (Chapman) Sinopole. She loved being a mother above all else and devoted her entire life to caring for her family with warmth and dedication.

Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don Crawford; her beloved daughter, Sarah Connor; her father, Nicholas Sinopole; and her mother, Martha Chapman Sinopole.

She is survived by her children, William Connor and Mary Connor Skees, as well as siblings Angela Bennett, Nicholas Sinopole, Donna Gordon, Theresa McDonnell, and Janine Luethans, along with many cherished cousins and dear friends.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on September 5, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Truman Park in Hazelwood, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Virginia’s honor to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation, Easterseals, or the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation.
