Virginia L. King
Virginia L. King passed away suddenly on April 30, 2022 at the age of 69.
She was the beloved sister of Dixie (the late Bill) and Dr. Robert King; dear aunt, great aunt, godmother and wonderful friend to many. Virginia was the dearest friend to Dennis Palazzolo and Patty Greaves. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marian and Vernon and her brother Malcolm.
Virginia always loved working with statistics, so working as a Statistician was a wonderful career choice that lasted 40 years.
She also loved being around dogs, especially her dear Murphy, she was her favorite.
A visitation will be held Friday, June 3 from 4-7 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 5508 Telegraph Road, St. Louis, MO 63128, with the service to follow on Saturday, June 4 at 11:00 am. The family invites you to stay for popcorn, pizza and salad after the service.
In lieu of flowers donations to Humane Society of St. Louis or a charity of your choice appreciated.
Virginia was a sweet and dear friend. I will always cherish our times we had together and our phone calls. Virginia will be missed so much. I’ll always love and miss you Virginia. Rest in peace sweet Virginia.
I had the pleasure of getting to know Virginia when she worked with my daughter, Lindsay doing taxes. I miss her already and am thankful she let me take her to a few of her doctor appointments in the last few months.
