Vivien Harold “Red” Guymon
90, of Creve Coeur, began a new life with Jesus on March 13, 2019.
Born in Mesita, Colorado in 1928, he had been a resident of St. Louis since 1975.
Husband of 67 years, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and, of countless friends he was beloved by all.
He worked in Quality Control for Emerson Electric for over 46 years and was fortunate to travel the world.
He is survived by his wife, Ambie “Pat” Guymon, daughters Leah (Thomas) Bonebrake, of Springfield, Missouri, and Carol Kipper of Maryland Heights, granddaughter Nichole McCarthy of Maryland Heights, and 3 great grandchildren Dalton, Abby, and Parker.
Baptized in 1952, he was a devoted church member of Chesterfield Community Church since 1984.
“Red” was a lifetime member of Lion’s Club, and dedicated Shriner.
He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and loved St. Louis Cardinals Baseball above all sports.
Services: A memorial service will be held at Chesterfield Community Church, 14647 Ladue Rd., Chesterfield, Mo. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
