Wayne loved the outdoors, and was happiest when he was hunting, fishing and just generally being outside enjoying nature, which was something he did often at his 14 acre home. He passed down the traditions of a sportsman and his love of nature through teaching his children and grandchildren. Wayne also liked to be busy. He always had multiple irons in the fire, whether that was taking care of the homestead or working on a project. He also loved military history.
