~ In Loving Memory of William Allen Douglas 1939-2020

William Allen Douglas, 80, of St. Peters, passed away on Nov 8, 2020. He was born December 18, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Dorothy (Wahlers) Douglas and Allen Douglas.

Bill married the love of his life, Jeanie, on June 10th, 1961. Bill worked in the field of Chemistry and has several patents attributed to him. As a Quality Manager, later in life, he earned a Six Sigma Black Belt. His passions included his family, his ever-present cats, fishing, and food.

Bill was preceded in death by Dorothy (mother) in 1994, Allen (father) in 1957, William F Wahlers (uncle) in 1956, Victoria A. Douglas (daughter) in 1965, Elizabeth Schaumann (sister) in 1994, and Christopher Connor (nephew) in 2003.

William is survived by his wife, Jeanie M. (Bryan) Douglas. Other survivors include children Laura (Kent) Fortner, William (Cecilia) Douglas, Donna (Scott) Schnuck and Mary (Jennifer Kirmer) Douglas; eight grandchildren; niece Carol (Bob) Malone.

No public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Mother of Good Counsel Home where he spent the last few months of his life.
