William Johnston
William (Bill) E Johnston passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024 at the age of 77. He was born in Kansas City, KS on February 7, 1947, and preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Edith (Morgan) Johnston.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 55 years, Kathy (Vinson) Johnston and lovingly remembered by his children; David (Kathleen) Johnston and Mary (Derek) Engelkemeyer, sister; Patricia (Johnston) Greisl, grandchildren; Alex Johnston, Nic Johnston, Elliot Engelkemeyer, and Adam Engelkemeyer, and Nieces and Nephews.
Bill was a government accountant for over 25 years. He loved computers, military history, traveling and airplanes. He was a devoted husband, dad and papa. Bill was also showered with love by his caregiver Beth, family and friends during his health struggles in the final years of his life.
Services will be on 3/2/24 at Veteran’s Tribute Park Shelter # 3 from 11am-1pm. There will be a remembrance service at 11:30 am. The address is 1031 Kisker Rd, Weldon Spring, MO 63304.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
