Wilma Pesnell, age 79 of Bethalto, IL, passed away August 23, 2018 at home with her family by her side after her battle with heart disease. Wilma was born February 4, 1939. She is the daughter of Emma Shiroky and Owen Thomas. She married Jimmy Pesnell in April of 1963. Wilma and Jimmy Pesnell were married 48 years and is survived by a son James David Pesnell, a grandson David Michael Pesnell, and granddaughter Megan Thomas.

Wilma will be dearly remembered and missed.

At Mr. Pesnell’s request, a small graveside ceremony at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with family and close friends will be held on Friday, August 31st at 10:45am.
