Rest in Peace, Dad, we’ll miss you.
What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man. Treasure the great memories you have. Each of you carries the strength and integrity of his legacy.
Such a fine man, beloved husband, devoted father, loving grandfather, revered professional, and dedicated parishoner – I am glad I knew him my first eighteen years of my life. He and Joan are together in peace.
What a fine tribute for a loving and most accomplished man. Those of us who had the honor of knowing him were blessed by his gentlemanly ways. Requiescat in pace.
Not sure if anyone is reading these since some time has passed, but just in case I thought I would share a bit of trivia. I hope this is appropriate but I thought it might be appreciated. Thomas A. Duffield’s dad was Charles J. Charles A’s mother was Mary Louise Cronin Duffield. Her father was Jeremiah (Jay) Cronin, Jr. (1831-1889). I do genealogy and just thought I would share that if you wanted to google it. There is a movie being released in Sept. called “The House With the Clock in its Walls” based on the Cronin Mansion in Marshall, MI. This house was built by Tom’s great grandfather. Just sharing the trivia. I would be happy to expand if anyone is curious.
